During this time, the SU¶®É«µÛwill have continued its role as a champion for students’ rights and grown to become a leader for environmentally sustainable practises in the post-secondary systems.

The Students’ Union of ¶®É«µÛwas formed in 1974 to become the representative body of 13,000 students at ¶®É«µÛ.
As a part of caring about the well-being of its membership, the SU¶®É«µÛis connected to the heart of campus life, providing students with access to recreation, events, and opportunities to contribute to the community. A member of the and an advocate for students rights, the SU¶®É«µÛhas successfully lobbied for, and implemented a standardized and fair-priced Universal Transit Pass for all Metro Vancouver students.
The SU¶®É«µÛalso provides its students with a tailored, high-quality that meets the needs of its diverse constituency.
